Hi!.  I am Adriana Ortiz. I am happy to say: welcome!.
If  you are reading this is because as I, you are a person that likes technology and wants to learn more from it. This blog was created with that purpose, and  to follow the continuous process of learning. We are not here by chance, we are here with a purpose and it is important to discover it, and make it worth it. For that reason, I have created this blog to research and find conclusions on different topics regarding technology and education. 

This blog bloomed as part of a subject called ICT in ELT in UCV-Venezuela. This blog represents to me as a journey that we are doing together. I know it will help me to reflect and find conclusions about which strategies and resources will be better to implement as ESL teacher. The more you learn the more inspire you can be. 

Technology is like a sea, it has a lot of treasure down there, and we need to go deeper and deeper. Sometimes, our own resources are not enough to get there and we need to find the more appropriate ones.For example: a snorkel  mask, take a scuba diving course or call a friend that could know how to reach those treasures. For that reason, I always consider that we need to learn and go beyond our own expectations because the world is moving everyday and the learning as well. 

This subject and the challenge of creating a blog is wonderful, I hope if you read this!, You can get inspired and try to come along with me and enjoy this. I will finish with the following image:

In a changing world, it is important to be constantly learning. Specially, learning about the digital area. The information and the way to obtain it have evolved. Nowadays, we can get access to a lot of information like the blink of an eye throughout the internet, and its technological tools.  For that reason, it is important not to be a digitally illiterate. Regarding the term Digital Literacy, how can we define it? One of the word that we can use to analyze it is the word literate. According to Word References dictionary is perceived as the competences or knowledge in specified area or the ability to read or write.
